Set up in October 2018, the BCPS is a partnership of neighbouring trusts in providing pathology services across the Black Country. The four partners are: Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust; The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust; The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust and Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust.
The NIHR CRN West Midlands covers the areas of Shropshire, Staffordshire, County of the West Midlands, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. The network is hosted by the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.
Much of the research which takes place at the RWT is a collaborative effort between staff and researchers who work for the our partners in Higher Education. These partners have their own research repositories.
